Sod Installation from New Jersey Sod Company

A great New Jersey lawn starts with expert sod installation. Sod installation on prepared ground. Removal, grading, soil work and other extras are included only when expressly listed in your written estimate.

The area needs to be fully prepped before the crew arrives: bare soil with no existing grass, roots, rocks or debris, graded so water drains away from the house, with new topsoil spread or the existing soil tilled. Send us photos of the site and we'll tell you whether it looks ready.

On installation day our crew lays the sod in a staggered pattern so there are no visible seams and every piece fits tight, makes all the cuts and cleans up. Someone needs to be on site to start watering right away, and we walk you through mowing timelines, irrigation tips and when to apply your first round of fertilizer.

The minimum for installation is 2,500 sq ft, and the minimum for delivery only is 600 sq ft. Whether you're finishing a new-construction yard or coordinating a large landscape renovation, our team handles the installation with precision and care.

What our customers say

4.8(36 reviews)

“Best prices. I was able to get an exact amount of sod I needed, no minimum amount for delivery (unlike every other sod farm/seller). The sod was delivered exactly when they said it would. If the need arises again, I will purchase from again. I highly recommend!”

“Extremely thick Kentucky blue grass and around 2 ft wide rolls. Made our Art Museum in East Stroudsburg, Pa look fabulous. Far less work and cost to sod a lawn and not wait years for an ok lawn.”
